Travel awards are for presenting papers at domestic or international conference to a maximum of $700. The student should submit a proposed budget that estimates costs incurred including transportation, lodging, meals per diem, and registration. Must have an advisor in the Department of Community and Environmental Sociology. One award will be made per student per year. There is a lifetime maximum of five (5) awards per student. The Community and Environmental Sociology Department Awards Committee will review applications and grant awards that conform to these criteria. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
